Please note that Managing the New Frontiers is not meant to be prescriptive or seminal nor is it an academic tome. Although it’s often ignored, the material within these pages may be familiar to those who keep abreast of
management topics and current events. Simply put, I have no desire to re-label the fundamentals of management or the work of others and pretend that something new has been discovered. Rather, my research and efforts have been directed toward compiling and presenting efficiency, sustainability, and waste reduction in a basic, structured, and teachable way to the many businesspeople and students out there who aren’t yet aware of their wide scope, their costeffectiveness, and their profit potential. Put another way, this book is a steppingstone
to further study on the part of the reader. It is not a definitive guide.
