Low friction, elastomer-containing copolyimides

Novel copoly(imide butadiene)s and copoly(imide butadiene acrylonitrile)s were synthesized from amine-terminated butadiene oligomers, amine-terminated butadiene acrylonitrile oligomers, and aromatic dianhydrides and diamines.
