Supramolecular organogels formed by monochain derivatives of succinic acid

Abstract. The monoalkyl chain derivatives of succinic acid self-assemble into ordered bilayer aggregates by forming dimers of hydrogen bonded carboxylic acid in a number of organic solvents and finally gelatinize the solvents.
